Roles

Harbor East roles

Not a fighter roster — three ways to live in the same compact city.

Roles Hub

Harbor East asks you to pick a lifestyle. The official line is good or bad; Update 4 added a third practical lane: emergency. This hub is the character sheet for a city RP, not a Gacha list. Jump to civilian, criminal, or emergency once you know the server’s mood.

Systems sit in how to play and jobs. Tiers sit in jobs tier list.

How to read a role

Each child page covers:

  • What official art and copy support (plaza, Tool Shop, hospital, yacht)
  • Who you need on a 25-player server
  • How pay and VIP interact
  • Etiquette so you do not flatten someone else’s mansion tour

We will not invent named NPCs, skill trees, or “best starter character.” Your avatar is the character. Fashion from Style Central is the progression system.

Picking in 30 seconds

  • Photos, houses, yacht → civilian
  • Tool Shop, fence, chaos → criminal
  • Ambulance, hospital, structured scenes → emergency
  • Style Central, outfits, screenshots → fashion

If the lobby is silent, go civilian and open the session planner. Someone has to populate the streets.

Avatars are the roster

Official screenshots put a realistic fashion avatar next to a classic R15 hoodie on the same crosswalk. That mix is the “character list.” There is no rarity, no banner, no hidden S-tier NPC you need to roll. If someone in chat asks who the best starter is, the answer is the outfit you already wear plus a lane from this hub.

Because MorphToR15 is forced, accessory clipping on stairs and in the ambulance is a real issue. Test your look in Villa Serenity before a photoshoot. Test it again in the hospital doorway after Update 4 — interiors are tighter than the plaza.

Name colors from VIP are cosmetic flex, not a role unlock. A VIP nametag in the Tool Shop is still a criminal if you opted into hood RP. A free account on the ambulance is still EMS.

Group size

Harbor East servers hold 25. A role that needs 12 cops does not fit. Emergency works with 3–5. Crime works with 2–6. Civilian works with 1. Build your party around that math, not around Brookhaven’s 12–40 player muscle memory.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Harbor East questions.

Is there a character gacha?

No. You play your Roblox avatar in a city. Roles are jobs and lifestyles.

Can I play all three roles?

Yes. Swap when the scene ends. Do not mix a hospital shift with a mall shootout.

Do roles have levels?

Nothing official is documented. Cash, houses, and gamepasses are the progression we can prove.
